Caitlin Bailey is an emerging wildlife cinematographer and ocean explorer based in San Antonio, Texas and Terlingua, Texas. She is passionate about the deep sea and polar regions. She has completed 21 expeditions aboard NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer since 2016 and has spent nearly 3 cumulative years on ships. She is also passionate about telling local wildlife conservation stories in her home state of Texas. Caitlin is a National Geographic Explorer and was the inaugural participant in the Second Assistant Program with National Geographic Society. She also received and completed a grant with NGS and is currently in the National Geographic Field Ready Program.
